The School of Music at Illinois State University enrolls more than 400 students who study with a dedicated teaching faculty that includes world-class performers, published scholars, and leading educators. The School of Music calendar features more than 200 solo and ensemble performances annually and is host to numerous festivals, conferences and symposia.

Our mission is to nurture and develop the talent and potential of each of our students, engaging them in rigorous training, to produce the best possible musicians, educators and individuals possible.

  • Graduation Ceremonies for the School of Music take place on Saturday May 10 at 7:00 pm in Braden Auditorium. Tubist and ISU alum Rex Martin will present the keynote address.
