Presentation: "The Effect Electromyographic Feedback on Achievement in Bowing Technique" at the Association for Technology in Music Instruction and College Music Society meetings in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 22 - 24, 1998.

Bass Clinician/Performer at the Richard Davis Festival for Young Bassists in Madison, Wisconsin. Approximately 100 bass students participated. Rufus Reed (NYC), John Clayton (LA), David Murray (Butler Univ.), Larry Hutchinson (Detroit Sym.), Peter Dominguez (Oberlin), Dianna Gannett (U of Iowa, and current President of the International Society of Bassists), and Richard Davis (recording artist/Univ. Wisconsin. at Madison), etc., participated. April 9 - 11, 1998. I will participate again this Spring. 

Research presentation at the MENC National Conference in Kansas City in April 1996. 

Presented "Physiological mapping of string performance" at the third Technological Directions in Music Education Conference University of Texas at San Antonio, 2/8, 1996.

Presented "Physiological Mapping of String Performance" at the IMEA Research Symposium , Poster Session, Feb, 1996. This study was one of six selected to be part of "Music Research in Illinois". In addition, I was invited to present my work in a poster session on the same day.

All-State Convention Presentation/Performance - Double Bass Session for Bassists and Teachers IMEA Peoria 1/28/1994.

The Analysis and Improvement of Bowing Technique Through the Use of EMG Biofeedback. Main study presented at the IMEA convention, Peoria, Illinois, Jan. 1993. 

Presented pilot study entitled The Analysis of Bowing Ability Through Electromyographic Biofeedback at the IMEA Convention in Peoria on Jan. 27, 1991. 

Presented a lecture/demonstration on Technique, Physiology, and the Use of the Four Finger System and Cello Extensions at Bass Day '89 at Northwestern University on Sat. November 11, 1989. This event was sponsored by the International Society of Bassists.
