Undergraduate Theatre Studies Sequence

The Theatre Studies sequence is designed for students who wish to pursue a broader course of study in theatre. Students take a wide range of courses in acting, directing, design, technology, management, and history.

Students following the Theatre Studies program are required to select a nine-hour concentration from one of the following:

  • Cinema Studies
  • Directing
  • Theatre History
  • Theatre Management
  • Microcomputer Applications in Theatre
  • Creative Drama

The program provides the beginning of specialized training and acts as a stepping stone to employment or further study in a graduate program. It also allows students to explore multiple areas while determining their interests and strengths.

For more information about program requirements and course descriptions, please review the Undergraduate Catalog (pdf).
