Friends of the Arts

ENVISION

Influence art and culture through support of
Illinois State University’s visual and performing arts.

CREATE

Help provide cultural opportunities for the public.

Ignite passion in developing artists.

CONNECT

By joining Friends of the Arts, you help instill appreciation of the fine arts and education in our society. Your support helps provide essential scholarships for generations of artists. Membership also gives you opportunities to experience the arts, through exhibitions, performances, tours, trips, and social events.

Friends of the Arts is open to all. Members come from all walks of life. Some are creative; some just love to be involved in creative enterprises.

Membership contributions are reasonable and the benefits are great! Membership contributions primarily support scholarships for students in the School of Music, School of Theatre, School of Art, and the Arts Technology Program. Students and alumni contribute to the arts as

  • Award-winning performers
  • Highly regarded artists
  • Master musicians
  • Gifted teachers

Members enjoy a wonderful calendar of special arts-oriented events, learning and growing in delightful ways….introduction to a new dance form or art medium…captivating theatre…world-class music…fresh looks at old favorites… Friends socialize, building bridges among each other and between the community and the artists – faculty, students and alumni – on campus and beyond.
