Timeline is the theme for the Frontiers in Printmaking Exchange Portfolio.
 

Print size and format: each print is required to be5” x 7”.
 

All conference attendees are eligible to participate in this exchange and exhibition. We ask all participating artists to respond to Timeline in some way, which fits within the overall conference theme: Frontiers in Printmaking.
 

Editions must consist of twelve impressions numbered 1/12 to 12/12, using any archival printmaking process. The prints will be slipsheeted, however, participants must use archival inks and materials. All prints must fit within the size requirement of 5” x 7” and may not be thicker than 1/16 of an inch. Editions which do not conform to these guidelines may be excluded at the discretion of the coordinators.
 

Ten of the prints will be redistributed to other participants in a random selection process. The remaining two prints from each edition will be retained. One complete set of prints will be housed in the Normal Editions Workshop Archive, and a second complete set of prints will exhibited and sold in support of Illinois State University’s printmaking program. If you plan to participate in the portfolio, please indicate this choice on your conference registration form. If you are not attending the conference, you may not participate in the exchange portfolio.
 

There is a $5 portfolio fee for all participants. Participants will pay this fee when they register for the conference, and will receive a portfolio receipt at the portfolio drop-off. Editions are to be dropped off in person at the conference, at any of the following times only: Wednesday 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Thursday 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. The portfolio receipt is required to claim collated portfolios. Participants must pick up their exchange portfolios on Friday, between 1 p.m.–4 p.m.
