In this course, we will examine drawing as an essentAl means of expression and description. This studio course requires a Ëhands onÓ approach to the exploration of various processes, mediums, and techniques within the discipline of drawing. Representational drawing skills will be developed along with an analytical approach to the observation of form as a vehicle for personal expression. A variety of approaches and styles will be encouraged in relation to direct problem solving and expanding our personal creative process. Aesthetic and historical issues will be presented within the context of lectures, discussions, assignments, and critiques.
