Facilities

The College of Fine Arts boasts more that 275,000 square feet of classroom, studio, performance, laboratory, gallery, office and community space. Highlighting our facilities is the Center for the Performing Arts which opened in the fall of 2002 and houses a 450 seat proscenium theatre and an 850 seat concert hall.

The core of our facilities are located on the south end of the Quad just east of the new College of Business building, but other Fine Arts facilities can be found elsewhere on campus; including music studios which are located in beautiful Cook Hall (also know as the Castle) on the northwest corner of the Quad and the Glass House, which houses the School of Art's internationally renown glass program, located near Hancock Stadium.

The latest technology is found in many classrooms and laboratories. Among the College's notable technical spaces are several macintosh and windows computer labs as well as a MIDI studio and computer-based video editing laboratory.
