New York Theatre Trip

Students and Community

Most years, the College of Fine Arts hosts two theatre trips to New York City. These trips include round-trip airfare, 6 or 7 nights hotel in the theatre district, tickets to Broadway and off-Broadway shows, and walking tours of the city.

Student Trips: The student trip takes place during Spring Break (not every year). First priority goes to College of Fine Arts students and every effort is made to keep the price as low as possible. Students see 4 or 5 shows as part of the package, and opportunities are provided for visiting graduate schools and other opportunities. Assistant to the Dean Pete Guither is the host.

Next planned student trip is spring, 2009 .

Community Trips: This annual trip is open to the general public, and also includes a wide range of theatre and tours. Pete Guither and Jobie Tick are co-hosts.

The next Community trip is June 2-9, 2008.
